Noida News: Private School Employee Arrested For Molesting 15-Year-Old Student Several Times

Noida: In a disturbing incident, a 15 year-old-girl was allegedly molested by a private school employee in Noida several times, police stated on Saturday. The accused, identified as a 30-year-old man, has been arrested by the police after the child's parents lodged a formal complaint against him.

Station house officer, Krishna Gopal Sharma informed that the arrest was made on Saturday after they received a complaint at Noida Sector 113 police station. According to police, the victim's father said that the accused molested her daughter at least three times, threatening her with severe repercussions if she revealed anything. However, the incident came to light after the victim informed her parents about the molestation.

A case under section 74 (Assault against woman) and section 7/8 (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act) of the Bharatiya Nyaya sanhita has been imposed on the accused.

Other Similar Cases Of Molestation

This isn't the first instance when a child has been molested in a private school in Noida. A student was molested by a 25-year-old man within the school premises in Noida on September 10. Four people, including the school staff, were arrested in the incident for allegedly hushing up the case.

In yet another recent incident, a 26-year-old married woman was molested while sleeping, by a health worker in Kolkata's government hospital. As per reports, her son was admitted to the hospital while she was sleeping in the children’s ward when this incident took place The accused, identified as Tanay Pal (260 has been arrested by the Kolkata Police.
