Narendra Modi is expected to be sworn-in as Prime Minister for a third consecutive term on June 8, as the NDA secured just enough seats to win 292 seats, according to sources. If the NDA forms the government, Modi will become the second leader, after former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, to retain power for a third term.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi led a meeting of the Union Cabinet to assess the Lok Sabha election outcomes and deliberated on issues concerning the formation of the next government, according to sources.

The meeting at the Prime Minister's residence commenced at 11:30 am. This marks the final session of the Modi 2.0 Cabinet and Council of Ministers. The Cabinet will also propose the dissolution of the current Lok Sabha, which completes its term on June 16.

Meanwhile, senior leaders of the NDA began arriving in Delhi for a meeting of the alliance scheduled for 4 pm. The NDA leaders are expected to discuss the specifics of government formation.

JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, along with Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu, who is poised to become the next Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, will attend the meeting.

Sources indicate that BJP's allies have begun submitting their demands for the Modi 3.0 Cabinet. JD(U) has requested 3 Cabinet seats, while the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena has asked for one Cabinet seat and two Minister of State (MoS) berths.
