Tragic Collision In Bihar Claims Seven Lives, Leaves Four Injured
Early Monday morning, a tragic head-on collision between an SUV and a tractor claimed the lives of at least seven individuals, including three children, and left four others injured. The incident occurred on National Highway 31 near a petrol pump under the jurisdiction of Pasraha police station in Khagaria district. Police reported that the occupants of the SUV were returning from a wedding ceremony when their vehicle collided with a cement-laden tractor traveling in the opposite direction.
According to media reports, it is being said that the occupants of the car were returning from a wedding ceremony in the Chautham block area and the accident occurred on NH-31 during this time. After receiving information about the accident, the police and officials reached the scene and evacuated the injured. It is reported that this road accident occurred near the Vidhyaratna petrol pump in the Pasraha police station area.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramesh Kumar from Gogri stated that the injured individuals have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Additionally, the bodies of the deceased are being transported to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for postmortem examination.
